{"id":2563,"date":"2022-04-27T17:55:12","date_gmt":"2022-04-27T20:55:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.blog2.com.ar\/?p=2563"},"modified":"2022-04-27T17:58:45","modified_gmt":"2022-04-27T20:58:45","slug":"critical-thinking-and-judgment-on-engineers-work","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.blog2.com.ar\/index.php\/2022\/04\/27\/critical-thinking-and-judgment-on-engineers-work\/","title":{"rendered":"Critical Thinking and Judgment on Engineer&#8217;s Work"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Felicito al grupo de colegas que  ha publicado en la revista <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/journals\/test20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Engineering Studies<\/a> el paper &#8220;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/doi\/full\/10.1080\/19378629.2022.2042003\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Critical Thinking and Judgment on Engineer&#8217;s Work: Its Integration in Engineering Education<\/a><\/em>&#8221; que inaugura un problema poco (pr\u00e1cticamente nada) tratado en las disciplinas tecnol\u00f3gicas: el &#8220;buen juicio&#8221; que articula el conocimiento con las soluciones bajo una serie de restricciones dadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los  autores del trabajo son: H\u00e9ctor Gustavo Giuliano, Leandro Ariel Giri, Fernando Gabriel Nicchi, Walter Mario Weyerstall, Lydia Fabiana Ferreira Aicardi, Mart\u00edn Parselis, y  Federico Vasen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Abstract<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the present work we develop some core ideas to strengthen the inclusion of humanistic knowledge in scientific and technical education sustained in the mainstream definition of engineering provided by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). In order to achieve such a goal we developed a novel formal definition of the term \u2018judgment\u2019 to enlighten the conceptual links between technical rationality and critical thinking in the context of the engineering profession.
